Living in North Dakota, we are often asked why we live here. I have to say I've lived in several other states and chose to return to raise my daughter here. There is more space and freedom on the prairies than in a city; and we are each blessed with one family, mine is here. There is a beauty to every place I have ever been, you just have to look for it and the same is true for North Dakota. The Red River Valley is wide and very flat with amazing sunrises and sunsets. The Badlands and the Killdeer Mts. are unique and beautiful all year as are the Sheyenne Valley and Missouri Valleys. There are several lakes and an abundance of wildlife nearby which is always fun and challenging; some of the wildlife likes to eat in my gardens. In my photo's I hope to share with you the beauty I find all around my home in North Dakota. Come back often as I will continually be updating and changing the photo's on my site.
